Until secondary school, I made the decision to transfer. Since my previous school didn’t have visual arts as an elective course, and I’m sure that visual arts is my favorite. In HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity, I learned different art media, such as ceramics and photography, which made me understand that art is not just one way.

After entering Hong Kong Art School, I lost my way and I doubted whether I really like fine art. I took photography and oil painting as an elective course at art school. I found that I was always in my comfort zone, not brave enough to try new things. Also, I was afraid of failing.

Therefore I studied design to see the bigger world. There are huge differences between art and design, but I am so glad that I made this decision. Because in the new school, not only did I learn new knowledge, I also learned that design thinking. I find that combining art and design will have interesting chemical reactions!
